Virtue Signaling 2.0 – Weaponizing Evil

Way back in July of 2018, I wrote an article titled Virtue Signaling and the Indoctrination of the Left. I did not know it at the time, but that article would become very popular. As of this writing, it’s the third most popular article I’ve written, with over 20,000 page views.

At the time, Donald Trump had been President for about a year and a half, and the left was still spinning his win as being the result of what can now be called the Russian Collusion Hoax.

In a few days, the left will take control of the Senate, and the Presidency. The left already holds the House. In preparation for taking power, the left is already changing gears, and I want the American people to be aware of what is coming.

We all know there was a riot that entered the Capital Building on January 6. What a lot of people seem to have forgotten is that this is the third time the halls of Congress were invaded by a mob, the other two being when Democrats stormed the Senate Building, to try and shut down the Brett Kavanaugh, and then the Amy Barret confirmation hearings.

America should be used to riots, given that they have been occurring continuously for about a year. Maxine Waters told a crowd of supporters, “If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley called for mobilized “unrest on the streets” against the Trump Administration. Kamala Harris, who is about to be Vice President, said, “Everyone beware. They’re not gonna stop before election day in November, and they’re not gonna stop after election day. They’re not gonna let up, and they should not.”

Nancy Pelosi said, “I just don’t know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country. Maybe there will be.”

I could go on and on. Up until last Wednesday, advocating looting, rioting, insurrection – you name it – was the official pastime of the Democratic Party. Even today, people like Bill Maher are not condemning violence, or even insurrection. Bill Maher says the insurrection should have been directed against the White House instead of Congress.

We need to dispel this notion that Democrats are against violence, or that they are against insurrections. They are not. They are only against such things when done by Republicans, and when they are, they like to blame all Republicans for the acts of a few.

Here is a hard truth. Machiavelli wrote, in The Prince, that a leader must have the appearance of virtue, but must not have virtue, and the political left often does better than the political right because they act more Machiavellian. When a mob breaks out from the political right, Republicans are very quick to condemn it, and what happened in the Capital a few days ago was no exception.

The result of this is that Republicans look weak, divided, and guilty, and of course, that is exactly what the press reports.

When mobs break out on the left, Democrats downplay the harm the mobs do, openly support the goals of the mobs, and attack the virtue of those who are against the mobs. And that is how the press reports it.

As a consequence, years of mob violence have only made the left stronger and more virtuous in the eyes of the public, whereas one riot from the right is a ‘watershed moment’ that ‘may spell the end of the Republican Party.’

The truth is that the left is not more virtuous than the right. They are just more Machiavellian than we are.

And what is the left currently working on? They are changing gears from signaling their own virtue through visual adherence to political orthodoxy, to signaling the evil inherent in political opposition. This is, of course, in preparation for the elimination of political dissent.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tells us that Congress is looking into a commission to ‘reign in’ disinformation in our media. Make no mistake about it – she is talking about ending the Freedom of the Press.

Parler was taken down for refusing to censor speech. Donald Trump was impeached, for the second time, for telling a crowd of supporters, “We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated, lawfully slated. I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

‘Peacefully and patriotically’ hardly seems like the words one uses to incite a riot, or to start an insurrection.

Trump did tell Congress to send the election back to the states, by challenging the electors of several states. He also laid out some of the evidence of election fraud that Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell’s teams uncovered. Democrats did the same thing four years ago after Trump was elected. Democrats, in fact, have called for electors to be thrown out every time a Republican has won a Presidential election in this century.

Trump also pointed out how biased and corrupt the media is. The media has always been partisan. Only seven percent of our nation’s journalists are Republicans. But do any of us pretend that the media has not become hyper-partisan? Truth be told, our media houses have made a deal with the Chinese Communist Party, agreeing to allow China to censor our media, in return to access to the Chinese media market.

What Trump was asking Congress to do, Congress had the authority to do. Whether or not Trump should have asked Congress to throw out electors is debatable, but Congress had the lawful authority to do so, and the speech Trump was impeached for giving was Constitutionally protected free speech.

What happened next was regrettable, and has been condemned by everyone on both sides of the political aisle. It was also something Democrats have been doing continuously around the country for almost a year, and that some of the very people who are attacking Trump, and lumping all Republicans in with the rioters, have been openly advocating.

The Democrats are using the Capital Building Riot as an excuse to vilify, to silence, and eventually to punish, all those who stand opposed to the left’s agenda. In the words of Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter, the left is just getting started.

As for what the left’s agenda is, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is calling for Congress to create ‘deprogramming camps’ to hold anyone she considers a ‘white supremacist,’ which by her definition is anyone who disagrees with her. A ‘deprogramming camp’ could just as easily be called a ‘concentration camp.’

I’ll close with a quote from the incoming head of the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice, Kristen Clarke. She will be in charge of Civil Rights enforcement in our country, and this is what she believes:

“Please use the following theories and observations to assist you in your search for truth regarding the genetic differences between Blacks and whites.

“One: Dr Richard King reveals that the core of the human brain is the ‘locus coeruleus,’ which is a structure that is Black, because it contains large amounts of neuro-melanin, which is essential for its operation.

“Two: Black infants sit, crawl and walk sooner than whites.

“Three: Carol Barnes notes that human mental processes are controlled by melanin — that same chemical which gives Blacks their superior physical and mental abilities.

“Four: Some scientists have revealed that most whites are unable to produce melanin because their pineal glands are often calcified or non-functioning. Pineal calcification rates with Africans are five to 15 percent, Asians 15 to 25 percent and Europeans 60 to 80 percent. This is the chemical basis for the cultural differences between blacks and whites.

“Five: Melanin endows Blacks with greater mental, physical and spiritual abilities — something which cannot be measured based on Eurocentric standards.”

Does this sound like someone who should be in charge of Civil Rights enforcement within the Department of Justice?!?

The Democrats are not going to unify the country. They are going to balkanize it, and then they are going to punish the groups they do not like.
